Navy taps Wyle for support services

The professional, technical and administrative support will specifically be for the office's Air Warfare Division."Wyle is familiar with the complex challenges facing the leaders of the Air Warfare Division," said Donna Lowe, a vice president in the company's Aerospace Group. "Our employees have long provided valuable support services to the division and across the Naval Aviation Enterprise." The contract with a value to Wyle of about $59 million, is a cost-plus-fixed-fee arrangement with a term that extends to April 2016 -- or 2019 if all options are exercised.Under the award, Wyle will compete for task orders to assist the Navy in the planning, resourcing and execution of naval aviation programs, readiness and manpower.
