He was wearing blue jeans, possibly a gray hooded sweatshirt and brown shoes. subject was last near seen dysarts marina on apple lane in southwest harbor on Wednesday evening. He frequently visits Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, other MDI towns and has been seen as far as Bangor. If located, please contact Southwest Harbor police dept at 207-244-7912.
SOUTHWEST HARBOR, Maine Police are asking for help in locating Pete Peterson, a 61-year-old man with autism, who was last seen Wednesday evening near Dysart Great Harbor Marina on Apple Lane in Southwest Harbor.
He is 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds, has a gray beard and is balding. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and possibly a gray hooded sweat shirt and brown shoes. He sometimes wears glasses and walks with a limp.
He takes medicine to treat his high blood pressure and diabetes.
He frequently visits Bar Harbor and other Mount Desert Island towns, Ellsworth and Bangor. Police say that Peterson is known to hitchhike.
